Programs that remember the mother

WORTHHH creates culturally grounded postpartum wellness experiences where Black mothers can reflect, connect, learn, and find a practical next step. Programs support emotional wellness and community connection throughout the first year after birth.

Heal Her Healing Circles

Facilitated small-group wellness gatherings centered on honest conversation, guided reflection, restorative practices, and community care. A typical circle may include a welcome and grounding practice, a guided topic, private reflection, optional sharing, wellness resources, and a closing check-in.

  • Who it is for: Black mothers in the first postpartum year. Selected community circles may also welcome mothers processing an earlier postpartum experience.
  • Format: Virtual or in-person in South Florida, depending on the event.
  • Length: Usually 60–90 minutes.
  • Availability: Dates are announced as facilitators and welcoming spaces are confirmed. Ask about the next circle or join the interest list.
  • Cost: Any event fee or free-registration status is stated before registration. No surprise charges.

What participants can expect

Participants may speak, listen, reflect privately, or pass. Respectful participation and confidentiality are expected, but WORTHHH cannot guarantee that another participant will keep information private. Mothers should avoid sharing identifying medical details in group spaces.

Heal Her Village

A private Discord community for Black mothers seeking peer encouragement, resources, mental-health check-ins, prayer and affirmations, voice conversations, and honest discussion about motherhood and healing.

  • Who it is for: Black mothers, postpartum mothers, women rebuilding after motherhood, and women feeling isolated who want a culturally supportive community.
  • Format: Online through Discord.
  • Participation: Members can read, respond, join scheduled conversations, or participate at their own pace.
  • Community standard: Judgment, harassment, medical misinformation, and exploitation are not welcome.

Heal Her Chronicles

An interview and storytelling series centering real experiences of motherhood, postpartum healing, identity, wellness, and becoming whole. The series makes room for honest stories rather than polished “I’m fine” answers.

  • Where to watch: WORTHHH’s YouTube channel.
  • Who may participate: Mothers and invited professionals or community voices whose experience fits the series.
  • Interview interest: Potential guests can contact WORTHHH with a brief description of the story or expertise they want to share. An inquiry does not guarantee selection.

Community education and partnerships

WORTHHH develops educational conversations for families, community organizations, faith communities, employers, providers, and civic partners. Topics may include postpartum emotional wellness, supporting the mother after birth, reducing isolation, and connecting families with trusted resources.

Organizations may ask about a workshop, sponsorship, workbook distribution, community event, interview, or referral partnership. WORTHHH reviews each request for mission fit, capacity, safety, and accessibility before confirming participation.

Important care and safety information

WORTHHH programs provide education, peer support, guided reflection, and community connection. They are not therapy, medical treatment, crisis services, or a substitute for care from a licensed professional. WORTHHH does not diagnose postpartum depression, anxiety, or other health conditions.
